This month we have a range of delicious and healthy sweet treat recipes available for you to try for yourself, including some unexpected ingredients for that extra hit of plant power.

@cleanbychloe– Coconut & Beetroot Nice-cream
A delicious twist on a Cocobella favourite and an inventive use of a special little vegetable – beetroot!
Ingredients
1/4 beetroot
5 frozen bananas
1/3 cup coconut butter
5 medjool dates,
3/4 cup Cocobella Straight Up coconut water
Your choice of toppings
Method
Blitz all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour in a medium sized bowl. Top with banana slices, fresh strawberries and your choice of whole grains. Enjoy!
@healthy_fran – Post-workout Protein Smoothie
Reward yourself with a delicious post exercise kick of energy.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen cauliflower
2 tbsp. raw organic cacao powder
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 cup Cocobella Straight Up Coconut water
½ cup melted coconut chocolate
½ cup cacao nibs
Method
Blitz the cauliflower, cacao powder, protein powder and coconut water together in a blender until smooth. Set aside. Drizzle melted chocolate into a tall glass and spoon in smoothie mixture. Top with pieces of chocolate and cacao nibs.
@elsas_wholesomelife – Raspberry, Lime & Kiwi Pops
A tasty chilled treat for the hot summer days ahead.
Ingredients
2 cups Cocobella Straight Up coconut water
Juice of one lime
2 diced kiwi fruits
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
Method
Combine coconut water, lime juice, kiwi fruit and frozen raspberries. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and add wooden sticks. Freeze overnight. Enjoy!

Nothing celebrates mango season quite like a refreshing Cocobella smoothie loaded with nutrients to keep you happy and hydrated.
Ingredients
1 1/2 mangoes
2 frozen bananas,
1 tbsp. coconut cream
1 tbsp. vanilla bean protein powder
1/3 cup rolled oats
¼ cup Cocobella Straight Up coconut water
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy straight away.
@NomadicFitFoodie – Rainbow Layered Parfait
Our eyes are seriously in love with this vibrant layered treat— the perfect summer snack!
Ingredients
Chia Puddings
3/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup Cocobella Straight Up coconut water
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. freeze dried pomegranate powder
½ cup frozen raspberries
Spirulina Smoothie
1-2 tsp. spirulina power
2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 cup frozen mango
½ cup Cocobella Straight Up coconut water
To Serve
2-3 tbsp. peanut butter
Method
Combine the coconut milk, coconut water, chia seeds and maple syrup, stirring thoroughly. Divide this mixture into two separate bowls.
In one bowl, add the turmeric powder and lemon zest and stir through.
In the other bowl, add the pomegranate powder and frozen raspberries and stir through.
Cover the bowls and place in the fridge overnight to set.
For the spirulina smoothie, blitz all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
To assemble, layer the chia puddings in the bottom of a tall glass or jar. On top of this, add a layer of peanut butter. To finish, pour in the Spirulina Smoothie until the glass is full. Enjoy!
